This took place on 23 May 2024 at the Carnival Hall in Basingstoke, from 10:00 to 16:00.

The day was organised by our group with invites and attendees from the Reading and Oxford prostate cancer support groups.

It was primarily a course to help group members support newly diagnosed men, and covered listening and observation, language to be used and language not to be used.

The training was led by Aiden Adkins, one of the trustees of Tackle Prosate Cancer.

There were 15 attendees, all had a good experience, and it was considered a very good and worthwhile day.
